2008 Points

2008 Points have been posted from all the races that I have been sent results for. If you race is not on there, please get the track/race director to send them to me.

More then liekly we will not be requiring a racer to attend 2 races to make it to the Finals this year.

Once all races are done and points are totaled, we will redo the points for the finals were all positions to a point are the same similar to the nitro side.

Again thanks to all the racers and tracks that have been involved in the series this year. I hope we will continue this thru the following years.

Have had the question asked what about the points. The points that will be posted will be from the tracks that have sent me the results of the race.

If you attend a race and found no points or results it is the track that has not provided them to RC Pro to post. This year RC Pro turned over more to the hosting tracks.

With that said if you have raced a race in the divisional series and have no points or results posted contact the track. Because without points it will be hard to attend the Finals in December at Carolinas R/C facility.

East Electric Series Round 1

Round 1 schedule for this weekend at East Coast RC Club has been reschedule.

RC Pro and East Coast RC Club felt like it was in the best interest of both parties to move the date. The conflict with the  East Nitro Round 1 race date was not fair to the racers or organizations involved.

So far looks like the race will be next month and we will be posting a new flyer and dates ASAP.

Again we apoloize for any problems that this has caused for any racer.

2008 Season?

I originally announced at the 2007 Electric Offroad Finals that we would not be running a 2008 season. Since then we have had a number of tracks contact us about doing a race. Because of the interest by the tracks we have reworked the electric series and are offering races to the tracks that have shown interest.
The rework amounts to the electric series races will be offered to interested tracks as a santiconed event. The track runs the events per our rules and inline with our format options. Because an RC Pro official isn't traveling to each event these races can be offered a less cost to the racers and the tracks can make more money on the race. An existing large race can be used as a sanctioned electric offroad event.
If you have a track that is interested please contact David Lovett at lovett.ds@sbcglobal.net for details.
RC Pro will officate the national finals. The Finals will be scheduled once all qualifying races are scheduled.

The Checkpoint Chi-Town Shootout Feb. 29th - March 2nd at Leisure Hours Raceway will be an RC Pro sanctioned Electric Offroad Series event.

The results from the Finals are now posted in the calendar just click on the finals event for the results.

Points are being updated and I'm waiting on some of the pics to be emailed to me.
