Electric Offroad Announcements

Race Dates

Fri Dec 8, 2006 11:13AM

Apparently some people are still having trouble finding the 2007 race dates for electric. I think most are clicking on the calendar and all they are seeing is the lone one that shows for 2006. Please click the red arrow to the right of the year and it will advance to 2007 and you can see all of the schedule. After new years this won't be a problem. Also I have to verify the electric finals date with Leisure Hours but I'm looking at mid May since the ROAR electric offroad nats is on the date I intended to use.

We will be changing the date of the race at Redline since I was just made aware yesterday it conflicts with the Kahuna race at Joliet that same weekend. I'll have the new date later today. I'm also contacting CRCRC to see about the same thing.

Long Island Results

Wed Dec 6, 2006 4:01PM

Rob and the guys at Long Island are having problems downloading the stock results to send to me but they are working on it. As soon as I get them I'll post them and do the points. The mod results are posted HERE.

Special thanks to Lester Bastenbeck at Wolcott Hobby for being the RC Pro official this past weekend. Sorry I couldn't make the trip but I've been sick since I got back from the Finals in Rockford.

BTW listen to http://www.racetalklive.com/ tonight at 8 eastern. Lester will be on to talk about the race weekend. I'm also looking for contact info for James Schlick so we can get him on the program in the future.

Also anyone with event or awards pics that would like to have them posted on our site please forward them to rcproseries@gmail.com along with the photographer's info so we can give proper credit. No pics will be posted without the owner's approval.

Promoter Option Class

Sun Nov 26, 2006 7:00PM

This year in the Electric Series we will offer a Promoter Option Class (19T buggy). Each track has the option of using this class. This class may be offered at the finals IF it has been ran in atleast 2 divisions and had atleast 30 entries in the year. If this class is ran it may cause a slight schedule change. As soon as we know whether a track will offer this class we will post any adjustments in the schedule.

Long Island Raceway is offering this class next weekend. The schedule adjustment that was made for it was to move the mod 4wd to saturday and put the 19T buggy class on sunday. The Brushless Truck class is still offered for saturday but like all classes this year must have atleast 5 entries to be ran.
